\u03b7-Lyrid meteor ya\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n radiant\u0131 Lir (Lyra) b\u00fcrc\u00fcnd\u0259 yerl\u0259\u015fir v\u0259 meteorlar bu n\u00f6qt\u0259d\u0259n \u00e7\u0131x\u0131rm\u0131\u015f kimi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr. Bu meteor ya\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n m\u0259nb\u0259yi C\/1983 H1 (IRAS-Araki-Alcock) kometi il\u0259 \u0259laq\u0259l\u0259ndirilir. Bu komet 1983-c\u00fc ild\u0259 infraq\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 astronomik peyk IRAS, h\u0259m\u00e7inin m\u00fcst\u0259qil olaraq yapon astronomlar\u0131 Geni\u00e7i Araki v\u0259 George Alkock t\u0259r\u0259find\u0259n a\u015fkar edilib. \u03b7-Lyrid meteoroidl\u0259ri Yer atmosferin\u0259 t\u0259xmin\u0259n 43 km\/s s\u00fcr\u0259tl\u0259 daxil olur ki, bu da onlar\u0131 orta s\u00fcr\u0259tli meteor ax\u0131nlar\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131na daxil edir. Bak\u0131dan m\u00fc\u015fahid\u0259 zaman\u0131 \u03b7-Lyrid radiant\u0131 dem\u0259k olar ki, b\u00fct\u00fcn gec\u0259 \u00fcf\u00fcqd\u0259n yuxar\u0131da olacaq v\u0259 bu s\u0259b\u0259bd\u0259n meteor ya\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131 gec\u0259 \u0259rzind\u0259 izl\u0259nil\u0259 bil\u0259c\u0259k. Lakin radiant\u0131n s\u0259madak\u0131 h\u00fcnd\u00fcrl\u00fcy\u00fc gec\u0259 \u0259rzind\u0259 artd\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan \u0259n \u0259lveri\u015fli m\u00fc\u015fahid\u0259 vaxt\u0131 s\u00fcbh\u0259 yax\u0131n saatlar hesab olunur. Radiant\u0131n kulminasiya an\u0131 t\u0259xmin\u0259n saat 05:00 \u0259traf\u0131nda ba\u015f ver\u0259c\u0259k v\u0259 bu zaman meteorlar\u0131n say\u0131 maksimuma \u00e7atacaq.
